He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Downs and Elizabeth Downs; and his brother Maurice Downs (Janis). He is survived by: his wife Joan Downs (Chipman); his sons, Donald G. Downs (Dorie) and Dwayne M. Downs; his sister Linda Delia (Joseph); his grandchildren, Jacqueline, Aubrey and Jacob; and his great grandchild Hailey Elizabeth.
