Ann Marie Carney Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ann Marie Carney (Claymont, Delaware), born in Chester, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 9, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Carney; and her brothers, Francis and John Buckley. She is survived by: her children, Margaret McCaffery (Mike), John Carney (Tracey), Mike Carney (Niamh), Liz O'Neill (Brendan), Mary Wright (Michael), Joe Carney (Gail), Ed Carney, Theresa McCullough (Mark) and Claire Carney (Rob); and her grandchildren, Jonathan Fallers (Mackenzie), Maureen Coleman (Brian), Mike McCaffery Jr. (Kristen), Chris McCaffery, Brendan O'Neill Jr. (Terra), Eamon O'Neill, Lorraine O'Neill, Claire Peabody (Sam), Brian O'Neill (Bryn), Sam Carney (Annie), Jim Carney, Kathlyn Carney (Luke), Hannah Carney, Catherine Wright, Annie Wright, Matthew McCullough, Hope McCullough, Gabriella Carney and John Paul Carney. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Rosary Church (3200 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
