She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas J. Smith, Sr (Smitty); her parents, George Caldwell and Novella Caldwell (Crist); and her brother Lindale Shockley. She is survived by: her children, Juanita L. Ridley and Thomas J. Smith, Jr.; her grandchildren, Amanda N. McAllister (Daniels), Jessica L. Benos (Smith) and Tyler Smith; and her great grandchild Taso Benos. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
