With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Prentis Drummond of Camden Wyoming, Delaware, who passed away on July 29, 2024 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelia Drummond and Edward Drummond; and his grandchildren, Dwhana Drummond and Tyrone Drummond, Jr.. He is survived by: his family Prentis; his wife Susan Drummond; his children, Darlene Everett, Tyrone Drummond, Darnell Drummond and Sharon Drummond; his grandson Erik Everett; his great grandchildren, Dominique Everett and Jakara Everett; his great great grandchildren, Elijah Everett and Ezekiel Everett; his daughter-in-law Anita Drummond; and his sister Pauline Walton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in his honor.

“Mr Prentis will be remembered for his smile and positive outlook on life because he was a very caring man. I was grateful for the loving kindness he showed from the time I met him until the last time I spoke with him by phone. I remembered him dancing at the wedding and how he walked around my parent's subdivision the first time he visited Sarasota. Mr Prentis was the best man at our wedding and my daughter Camina was my maid of honor and now the two are together in Heaven. Love you, miss you”
