He was predeceased by: his grandson Eric. He is survived by: his wife Linda Brooks (Knight); his sons, Paul A. Brooks, II (Jenny) of Wilmington and John W. Brooks (Bridgette) of Mooresville; his sister Phyllis Hesse of League City, Texas; and his grandchildren, Paul, Bryan, Sydney, Nora, William, Joey, Lilly and Iain.
