She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Karl Beseler and Anna Marie Stautzenberger. She is survived by: her sons, John Forster (Jennifer), Kris Durkee and Eric Durkee (Megan); her children-in-law, Cheryl Walsh (Scott), Rick Durkee (Suzanne) and Dave Durkee (Gabriele); her grandchildren, Nathan Durkee (Nicolle), Jake Forster, Jordan Forster, Reuven Durkee, Nelson Durkee and Haven Durkee; her great grandchildren, Angus Durkee and Amilia Durkee; and her husband Richard Durkee.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the ASPCA in Maxine's honor, continuing her legacy of compassion and care for all living things.
