She is survived by: her children, Ernest, Shani Brown-Williams, Joseph Lee Brown, Jr. and Shakeeta A. Carter-Carroll; her grandchildren, DaJour Brown, Marcus Williams, Zhanae Brown and Tahlia Williams; and her siblings, Ernest Jr., Arlene, Michelle, Rochelle Barrett (Howard), Beverly, Gwendolyn Fox (Haywood Jr.) and Dolores Tolbert.
