She was predeceased by: her father Rev. Samuel Martz; and her sister Carol "Jean" Poore. She is survived by: her mother Rev. Catherine Bernard; her stepfather Joseph Bernard; her brother Sam Martz (Karen); her husband Ray Parsons, Sr.; her children, Caren Hoerath (Stefan), Renea Thompson (Jeremy) and Ray Parsons Jr. (Elizabeth); her grandchildren, Morgan, McKenna, Bastian, Jaxson and Maddox; her extended family, Sissy Casper (Gary), Bruce Poore, Sr. (Pat), Nancy Buckle (Darry) and Sue Davis (Donny); her pet Honey; and her child Church. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pippin Funeral Home (119 W Camden Wyoming Ave, Wyoming, DE 19934). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Cathy's request was to be a blessing to someone.
