Barbara Claire Zaragoza Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 19, 2023, at the age of 85, Barbara Claire Zaragoza of Camden Wyoming, Delaware, born in Torrington, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Merati and Eva Frauenhofer Merati; her former husband Ralph; and her brothers, Richard, Michael and James Merati.
She is survived by: her siblings, Catherine and Anthony (Pat); her children, Michael Zaragoza (Sandy Zaragoza), Sandy Zaragoza (Meave O'Marah), Nancy Zaragoza (Hugh West) and Bob Zalewski-Zaragoza (Barbara Zalewski-Zaragoza); and her grandchildren, Brian, Justin Zaragoza, Eva, Genevieve O'Marah, Alex, Catalina Fogg, Nadia, Sofia and Naomi Zaragoza. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Contribution to Breast Cancer. Claire also donated her time to a variety of other community organizations, including Read Aloud Delaware, the Junior Board at Kent General Hospital, and the Ladies Auxiliary of Kent General Medical Society.
