He was predeceased by: his parents, Landers Black Jr. and Velma Black; and his siblings, Pete, Freddie J., Valerye, Jerri and Michelle.

He is survived by: his wife Andrea J. Black; his sons, Aaron S. Black II (Middletown) and Avery L. Black (Dover); his daughters-in-law, Misty Black (Middletown) and La'Shonda Black (Dover); and his grandchildren, Carmen Bowers (Middletown), Vivica Whisler of Quantico, VA, Emma Black (Middletown), Shanyia Black (Dover) and Aaron S. Black III (Middletown).
