He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Mooney and Eve Mooney (Morin). He is survived by: his former wife Kay Williams; his wife Kathleen Mooney (Kay); his children, Rishlene Mooney Tanner (Eric) of Gilford, NH and Blaine Mooney (Carolyn S.) of Berwyn, PA; and his sister Diane Ruel of Meredith, NH. He is also survived by four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
