With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard T. Mann of Bridgeville, Delaware, born in Lewes, Delaware, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 3, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father George Spencer of Engelhard; his stepfather Fred Cannon; and his siblings, Paul, Maurice Cannon, Helen and Nancy Cannon.
He is survived by: his mother Lizzie Mann of Georgetown; his son Richard Weston of Millsboro; his siblings, Douglas Cannon (Diane) of Milton, Charles Cannon, Fred Cannon, Danny Kane of Bridgeville, Mary Cannon of Bridgeville, Barbara Dredden of Dover, Angelance Benson (Harry) of Milford, Teresa Cannon of Laurel and Georgianna Cannon of Bridgeville; and his aunts and uncles, Pennie Cox, Helen Howard of Engelhard, Eyvonne Spencer of Brooklyn, Thomas Mann, David Earl Spencer of Engelhard and Louis Mann of Bridgeville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. John 2nd Baptist Church (26602 Mt Joy Rd, Millsboro, DE 19966). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
