It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Preston L. Bowden (Bridgeville, Delaware), who passed away on February 27, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Virginia Lewis and Norman Bowden; his son-in-law Gerald "Beannie" Cordrey; and the mother of his children Edwina Bowden. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Bowden; his children, Tillie Cordrey of Millsboro, DE and Chris Bowden (Terry) of Ocala, FL; his stepson Donald Frazier of Felton, DE; his granddaughter Amanda Cordrey of Millsboro, DE; and his sister Rosetta Bunting of Georgetown, DE..
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium Hardesty Chapel (202 S Laws St, Bridgeville, DE 19933). Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Episcopal Church (2 Williams St, Bridgeville, DE 19933). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Bridgeville Cemetery North Laws (2 N Laws St, Bridgeville, DE 19933).
