He was predeceased by: his father William; his wife Gail; his daughter Becky Reed; his mother Hattie; and his siblings, Claude, Dan, Jay, John, Frank, Rachel Walker and Pearl Hassett.
He is survived by: his children, Jamie Absher (Crystal), Jeff Absher (Christine), Jane Schrock (Dan) and Debbie Cooper (Alton); his son-in-law Robert Reed; and his brother Mack Absher. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren.
