With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Esther Ree Sutton (Bridgeville, Delaware), who passed away on January 14, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otelia Hayes Sutton and Hayward Sutton Sr.; her siblings, Ruby Barnes, Geraldine Edwards, Roosevelt, George and Hayward Jr. Sutton; her son Isaac Holland Sr.; her great grandchild Zay Carter; and also Hayward Sutton Sr..
She is survived by: her great grandchild Cameron Sutton-Quailes; her children, George Holland (Roketa) of Salisbury, MD, James Holland of Berlin, MD, Rosalind Dorsey of Bridgeville, DE, Dana Sutton (Lisa) of Laurel, DE, Wallace Showell of Rehoboth, DE., Wade Weal of Greenwood, DE, Benita Solola of Greenwood, DE, Owena (Jason), Alvin Handy (Regina) of Belin, MD and Anthony Johnson (Venita) of Bridgeville, DE; and her granddaughter Desira'Sutton (McArthur) of Bridgeville, DE. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Victory Baptist Church (16219 Sussex Hwy, Bridgeville, DE 19933). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
