He was predeceased by: his father Paul Simpson of Harrington, DE.; his former wife Kathleen Marie McWeeney Simpson; his uncle Larry; his aunt Mary Ellen Grinolds; and his nephew Gary Simpson, Jr. of Harrington, DE..
He is survived by: his mother Beulah Simpson (Jester); his wife Suellen Wilkins-Simpson; his children, John Simpson (Anna) of Milton, DE and Megan Simpson of Salisbury, MD; his stepchildren, Jen Xavier (Billy) of Greenwood, DE, Chrys Wilkins-Gosnell (Eric) of Sharptown, MD and Vickie Rickman (Lee) of Salisbury, MD; and his siblings, Gary (Jean) of Denton, MD, Darrin (Laura) of Harrington, DE, Gail Brown (Aubrey) and Sherri Stubbs (Barney) of Harrington, DE. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
