She was predeceased by: her parents, John J. McDermott and Elizabeth McDermott. She is survived by: her husband John F. Speer Jr.; her children, Christie Price (Roger), John F. Speer III (Maria), Dawn Young (Taylor) and Cathy McKinnell (Bob); her grandchildren, Kelly and Nicole McKinnell; and her children, Courtney Young, Jack and Decker Speer.

Donations to honor Celeste's life may be made to St. Ann's Catholic Church in Bethany Beach, or Delaware Hospice, http://delawarehospice.org in honor of the wonderful care they provided to her loving husband.
