He was predeceased by: his son Matthew Joseph Pienkos. He is survived by: his wife Paula D. Pienkos; his daughters, Amanda Pienkos (Richard Chong) and Sherri Hawkins (Kevin Hawkins); his grandchildren, Joseph E. P. Hawkins, Kylie-Pienkos-Chong, Harper Pienkos-Chong, Sarah Pienkos and Lily Pienkos; his siblings, Kenneth Pienkos and Dianne Vander Weyden; and his nephew Christopher Greenwell.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Stan's name to the VFW-Veterans of Foreign Wars or the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation.
