It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Dorothy Sheridan of Bear, Delaware, who passed away on February 7, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Batutis (Horzesky) and John Batutis; and her husband Anthony J. Sheridan. She is survived by: her children, Matthew Sheridan of London, England, Andrea Sheridan of Newark, DE and Mary Cathryn "Katie" Patton (Michael) of Bear, DE; her grandchildren, Rylee Sheridan and Maddox Patton; her sister Joan Reilly (Daniel) of Lawrenceville, NJ.; and also, Barbara DiAlessandro (Marcello), Tina Woerner (Leonard) and Edie Sheridan (John).
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Holy Family Church (15 Gender Rd, Newark, DE 19713). A Mass was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery (2465 Chesapeake City Rd, Bear, DE 19701).
