He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Wells and Mary Jane Wells; and his siblings, Willie Wells, Leroy Wells and Edna LeGee.
He is survived by: his sister Shirley Mae Wells; his children, Stephanie Sherry Wells Simmons (Tyrone Simmons), Jamar Jerome Wells Sr. (Shelia Wells) and LaMeain Vernon Trammell; and his grandchildren, FaDaysha Trammell, Des-Tiney Keitt, Amesa Simmons, Tyra Simmons, Jamar Wells Jr., Erica Simmons, LaMeain Trammell Jr., Jaedon Wells, Justin Wells and Maya Wells. He is also survived by sister-in-law; and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Evan W. Smith Funeral Services - Dover (518 S Bay Rd, Dover, DE 19901). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery (2465 Chesapeake City Rd, Bear, DE 19701).
