He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Winegarden and Ruth Winegarden of Oakland; and his brother Howard Winegarden of Bend, OR.. He is survived by: his daughters, Connie Hayes (David Hayes), Jill Van Winegarden (David Nix) and Karen O'Brien (Garett Fuller); and his grandchildren, Meredith, Patrick, Bridget, Alexis, Natalie, Meghan and Josie.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Lafayette United Methodist Church where he was a member.
