Wanda Gay Cumberland Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wanda Gay Cumberland in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on November 7, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Craig and Jessie Craig of Orkney Springs; and her siblings, Betty Coffelt, Mary Frances Canaday, Fern Lamma and Clifford Craig.
She is survived by: her husband Henry A. Cumberland III (Hank); her siblings, Henry (Iris), Randy Craig (Bobby) and Sandra Waybright (Ray); and her grandchildren, Elli, Sean, Alex, Colin, Aidan and Blake. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home (200 S Harrison St, Easton, MD 21601). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Joseph's Catholic Church (13209 Church Ln, Cordova, MD 21625).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul, Saints Peter and Paul Conference, Easton, MD.
