She was predeceased by: her father Colonel Daniel J. McVicar. She is survived by: her husband Steve; her children, William Huettner and Caroline Huettner of Oak Hill, Virginia.; and her siblings, Dan McVicar of Ashburn, Doug McVicar of Fairfax, Dave McVicar of Miami Beach and Margaret McVicar Fay of Alicante, Spain.. She is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews and 9 great nieces and nephews.
