Fauntroy (Washington, District of Columbia), born in Alamance, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 5, 2024 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Edgar and Cynthia Alston Moore; her husband Kenneth V. Fauntroy; and her sister Shirlee Moore Middleton. She is survived by: her sons, Michael Kenneth (Lisa) and Kevin Scott (Dionne); her brother Edgar F. Moore; and her grandchildren, Lauryn Elise, Mia Camille, Danielle Nichole, Logan Antoinette and Brett Michael.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Bethel Baptist Church (1739 9th St NW, Washington, DC 20001). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at the Fort Lincoln Cemetery (3401 Bladensburg Rd, Brentwood, MD 20722).
