He is survived by: his wife Uma; his children, Ritika (Brian) of Webster Groves, Bipan (Deepa) of Chicago and Parveen (Dianne) of Indianapolis, IN.; his grandchildren, Sonia, Rohan, Kiran, Sameer, Sunita and Cameron; his stepgranddaughter Amy (Richard); his great grandchild Marlie of Ballwin, MO.; his sisters, Bala Bansal (JP) of New Orleans, LA., Nirmala of Kullu and India; and his brother-in-law Dwivedi (Urmila) of Greenbelt, MD..
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association in his memory.
