It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Rome John Hartman IV (Washington, District of Columbia), who passed away at the age of 34, on April 13, 2021. He is survived by: his brother Alex; his parents, Amy and Rome III; and his sister-in-law Viveka. He is also survived by grandmother "Camom," and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and dear, dear friends.

It wasn't easy coaching kids ranging from age 6 to 13 in a pandemic; making sure everyone kept their masks on and up, and sanitizing the footballs between games – even between plays.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in R.J.'s honor to: DC Scores, a non-profit that promotes youth sports participation and character development in the Washington DC area.
