He was predeceased by: his parents, Haywood L. Parker and Frances W. Parker; his daughter Vanessa C.; and his brothers, Haywood L. and Daniel A..

He is survived by: his close friend Antoinette "Cookie" Green; his children, Charles W. Parker, Jr. (Michele), Gail F. Carter (Emmanuel) and Thomas Parker; his grandchildren, Charles W. Parker, III (Vanetta), Tyrone Parker (Chelsea) and Marjani E. Carter; his great grandchildren, Charlize, Naomi and Jessie; his nephews, Timothy Parker, William Parker and Daniel Parker, Jr.; and his niece Denise. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
