It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Minnie Mae Lee of Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on March 18, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles William Brown and Mary Pearl Brown (Jackson); her sister Bertie Brown (David Albert Lee, Sr.); and her grandson David A. Lee, III. She is survived by: her significant other David of Barnwell; her children, David Albert Lee, Jr. (Qunitcoe), Joyce Juanita Hughes, Mary Yvonne Hendricks and Myra Ann Hendricks; and her grandchildren, Valerie Griffin (Rossi), Peter Lee, Michael Hendricks, Jr., David Hendricks, Jr., Angela Elder (Terrance) and LaKia Hendricks. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren; one great- great grandchild, as well as friends and neighbors.
Viewing was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the March Life Tribute Center - Randallstown (5616 Old Court Rd, Windsor Mill, MD 21244). A wake was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
