He is survived by: his wife Roslyn Mayes; his children, Tiana Harris "Short Cakes" and Milous Mayes, Jr. (Simone); his stepson Stephen Galberth; his grandsons, Brandon and Kairo; his siblings, Brenda Minor (Kenny), Deborah (Melvin), Stephen, Joanne, Cornelious (Beverly), Gary (Marisa), Joseph and Anthony Avents; and his uncles, Willie Mayes of Gaffney, SC and Clinton Baxter of Shelby, NC.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews; great nieces and nephews, cousins.
