It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Millicent Macey Gleason of Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on April 9, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid adieu to Millicent's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Millicent has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her sisters, Catherine G. Powers and Patricia A. Gleason; and her parents, James P. Gleason and Georgette S. Gleason of Silver Spring, MD.. She is survived by: her siblings, James P. Gleason, Jr., Mary Gleason Rappaport (Robert) and Thomas F. Gleason. She is also survived by many cousins and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Bernadette's Church (72 University Blvd E, Silver Spring, MD 20901). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
