In loving memory of Maud V. Jeremiah (Washington, District of Columbia), who departed this world on December 11, 2024 at the age of 94. Maud leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Maud shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Maud farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Abraham WI (Lanora Mcleod) and Grenada W. I.; and her husband Rev. Samuel Jeremiah. She is survived by: her children, Lloyd, Sharon and Ruth. She is also survived by five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one sister, a brother-in-law, four sisters-in-law, and numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Maranatha Gospel Hall (4910 13th St NW, Washington, DC 20011). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at the George Washington Cemetery (9500 Riggs Rd, Adelphi, MD 20783).
