We are sad to announce that on March 22, 2025, at the age of 103, Mattie L. Wright (Washington, District of Columbia), born in Phenix City, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Mattie shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mattie farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Willie Howard and Willie Smith.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Sinai Baptist Church (1615 3rd St NW, Washington, DC 20001). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
