She was predeceased by: her parents, Sarah Lee and Curtis Rorie; her brother Anthony Rorie; and her son John David Kellam. She is survived by: her husband John D. Kellam Sr.; her children, Regina Bivens, Roderick Royster (Lavonia), Sharon Byrd (Rick), Patricia Brown (Tony), Joseph Kellam (Barbara), Deborah Davis (Johnny) and Elizabeth Parker; her grandchildren, Khaleb Byrd, Kamisha Kellam (Kenny), Aja Cannady, Erika Totten (Travis), Terron Cannady, Danielle Hoyle, RayNeshia Bivens, Daniel Prejean, David Prejean and Destin Prejean; her nephew Samuel Scott; and her sister Peggy Aro (Olubayo).
A reception was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Morning Star Baptist Church (5016 Sheriff Rd NE, Washington, DC 20019). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at the same location.
