He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernice Shelhorse (Veley) and Bodenheimer Shelhorse; his sister Helen Hunter; and his wife Shirley Shelhorse (Schneider). He is survived by: his sister Alice Shelhorse; his children, Debra Gray, Kenneth Shelhorse Sr. (Tammy), Paula Thewes (William) and Robert Shelhorse (Buddy); and his grandchildren, Kenneth Shelhorse Jr. (Amanda), Jessica Shelhorse (Mario), Nicole Orellana (Alex), Kristen Toussant (Danny), Tiffany Mathis (Erin), Julie Thewes, Jhostin Orellana, William Ramos, Violet Shelhorse, Gabby Orellana, Annabel Shelhorse, Nadia Shelhorse Gogonea, Brittany Orellana, Ellen Toussant, Joel Orellana, Isabelle Toussant, Daniel Shelhorse, Victoria Toussant, Rosalee Orellana, Jake Toussant, Theo Mathis and Genevieve Toussant. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 PM at the DeVol Funeral Home (10 E Deer Park Dr, Gaithersburg, MD 20877). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the DeVol Funeral Home - Maryland (10 E Deer Park Dr, Gaithersburg, MD 20877).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Lee's name to the American Cancer Society.
