With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathleen Lacey in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on January 8, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Kathleen may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ted Abbott and Valdis Abbott. She is survived by: her husband Michael James Lacey; her son Matthew Lacey; her daughter-in-law Shannon Lacey; and her grandchildren, Finnian Lacey and Owen Lacey.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Barnabas Episcopal Church.
Donations to the Bainbridge Island Land Trust are suggested in lieu of flowers.
