He was predeceased by: his parents, Gayle Parker Ruckman and Charles W. Ruckman. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Nicholas; his sons, David Nicholas (Cheryl) of Princeton, Texas and Daniel Nicholas (Mary) of Houston; his siblings, Linda Nicholas of Main, Vicky Ruckman, Brenda Ruckman of Maine, Chuck Ruckman, Andy Ruckman and Paul Ruckman; his grandchildren, Zachary Nicholas, Chandalynn Rowland and Ashley Nicholas; and his great grandchild Joseph Rowland Eichelberger.
