John left this world on February 14, 2025 at the age of 74, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Daniel Thundil and Kunjamma John Thundil. He is survived by: his wife Leelamma; his children, Jincy, Renu and Reny; his children-in-law, Anil, Jeena and Heny; and his grandchildren, Anjali, Rohan, Jeremiah, Rebekah, Lydia, Obadiah and Esther. He is also survived by three sisters, one brother, extended family, friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the New Testament Church (400 Butternut St NW, Washington, DC 20012). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Parklawn Cemetery (12800 Veirs Mill Rd, Rockville, MD 20853).
