He is survived by: his parents, Scottish and William; his wife Deborah; his sister Margaret Krum; his sisters-in-law, Norma Christie and Rachel Pike (John Gambell); his nieces and nephews, Dave, Bill, Linda Christie, Carol Krum, Cindy Steele, Kathy Rash and Jeff Krum; and also, Kathleen Christie, Bachelors, Masters, Doctorate and Buzzards Bays. He is also survived by numerous grandnieces and grandnephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests gifts to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, the Buzzards Bay Coalition, or the Goodwin House Foundation.
