Jerome Culbrest Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jerome Culbrest (Washington, District of Columbia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 15, 2024 at the age of 69. As we bid Jerome farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Jerome is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He is survived by: his sons, Brandon Whaley and Rufus Lofty; his grandson Brandon Whaley; and his siblings, Wanda Culbrest-Behm and Willie Culbrest.
The lying in state will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Stewart Funeral Home (4001 Benning Rd NE, Washington, DC 20019). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
