He was predeceased by: his parents, Rachel A. and James H., Sr. of Washington; and his sister Shirley Stith. He is survived by: his daughter Temika Hicks; his granddaughter Tori Hicks; his sisters, Linda Yancey and Anita of Washington; and his nephews, Tyrone Jenkins, Don Jenkins, Keith Stith, Anthony Yancey II and Aaron Yancey. He is also survived by great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
