It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Iris Darlene Mosley of Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on February 2, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandfather Samuel Manning; her brother Anthony Manning, Jr.; her grandparents, John Cecil, Ruth Thompson Swann and Doris Manning; her nephew Antoine Bush; her cousin Tiffani Carrington; her aunt Michele Colbert; and her stepmother Barbara Manning.
She is survived by: her parents, Anthony Howard Manning (Tony) and Ann Johnson; her siblings, Floyd Manning (Beverly), Shree Swann, Ronald Manning, Carla Manning, Wanda Manning (James), Christopher Manning (Debra), Twana Mason (Victor), Ronni LeGrande (Daryl), Vikki Dorsey (Don) and Yvonne Colbert; her aunts and uncles, Vernona Colbert, Deborah Carrington Smith (Cedric), Shirlyn Swann, Marylin Fleming, Antoinette Torrain, Charlene Kearny, Sheila Swann, Edsel Swann and John Cecil Swann Jr. (Doris); her close friend Anthony Beale; and her friends, Dwayne Howard, Darrell Wright and Steve Mosley. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Thornton Funeral Home (3439 Livingston Rd, Indian Head, MD 20640). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
