He was predeceased by: his parents, Estel Clay Banks and Irene Allen Banks; his siblings, William L. Banks and Dorothy M. Banks Kyle; his mother-in-law Mary E. Reddick; and his brother-in-law Ricky Reddick.
He is survived by: his wife Michelle Reddick Banks; his former spouse Querida McLendon Banks; his children, Henry Maurice Banks (Amy) and Tracey Lynnette Banks; his stepson DeAndre Powell; his stepgrandchild Kass Powell; his stepson Michael Powell; his sisters, Ruby Burgin and Janice Stultz; his father-in-law John C. Reddick Sr.; his siblings-in-law, Genester Powell (Joseph), Wendy Hall, Natasha Perarson (Reginald) and John C. Reddick Jr.; and his goddaughter Kim Burgin Douglas (John). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, family, friends and co-workers.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Heart Church (5055 Allentown Rd, Camp Springs, MD 20746). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please consider making a donation in memory of Henry C. Banks to support Cutaneous T-cell Lymphoma research conducted by Dr. Sima Rozati at Johns Hopkins University.
