As Gary Leon departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Gary Leon may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Gary Leon leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Foster R. Hovermale and Virginia Hovermale (Lentz); and his wife Chong Hovermale. He is survived by: his children, Richard Hovermale (Trisha), Ronnie Hovermale and Irene Hovermale; and his siblings, Allen Hovermale, Kenneth Hovermale and Joyce Lynch. He is also survived by five grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rest Haven Funeral Home (1601 Pennsylvania Ave, Hagerstown, MD 21742).
