It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evangelia Peter Heon (Washington, District of Columbia), who passed away on October 17, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Vasili Kavellari and Ekaterini Kavellari; her children, Maria, Ecaterini and Constantino (Tricia); and her grandchildren, Artemis, Alexander, Peter, Andrew, Evangelia and Christopher.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral, or The Children's National Medical Center in Washington DC.
