With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Esther Marie Terrell in Washington, District of Columbia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 11, 2025 at the age of 93. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mable F. Baylor and Lee Edward Paige, Sr.; and her grandson Brian Terrell. She is survived by: her children, Janice McDuffie, William Terrell (Pamela), Anthony B. Paige (Faye) and Kaywana Wright; her siblings, Shelia Compton, Laverne Berry and George Paige, Sr.; and her grandchildren, Eugene McDuffie (Shannon), Rochelle Peters (James), Tanya Coleman (Jody), Kevin Terrell, Keith McDuffie (Atoya), Kiauna Terrell, Kristen McDuffie, Kandace McDuffie (Leesa), Sean McDuffie (Brooke), Brendan Wright, Trevor Wright, Jamal Paige and Alexandra Paige. She is also survived by thirty-two great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zion Baptist Church (4850 Blagden Ave NW, Washington, DC 20011). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at the Fort Lincoln Cemetery (3401 Bladensburg Rd, Brentwood, MD 20722).
