She was predeceased by: her parents, Mack and Nancy Shingler; her children, Michelle Smith and Damon Pringle; her grandchildren, Kevin, Michael, LaShawn, Michelle, Akea and Taloria; her great grandchildren, LeBron and Jaliyah; and her siblings, Roosevelt, Richard Shingler, Maxine Franklin, Diane and Priscilla Shingler.
She is survived by: her former husband Reverend Braven Duffie; her children, Raymond (Martha), Dorothea Shingler of Milford, DE, Nadine Henry (Eric) of Harrington, DE, Maria (Warren), Lajuanda Johnson of Smyrna, GA and Paulette Smith; her adoptive daughter Carolyn Richardson; and her grandson Eugene Riddick. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, 5 great, great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pippin Funeral Home, Inc. (119 W Camden Wyoming Ave, Wyoming, DE 19934). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
