Dolores Thressa touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sarah Jones Walker and James Collins. She is survived by: her significant other Charlie Preston; her extended family, Charlie and Dolores; her children, Charlene Preston Bennett, Charlie Preston Jr. (Corlis), Douglas Preston (Yvette), Rhonda Mack and Margo Preston Scott (Michael); her sisters-in-law, June P. Bailey of Trenton and Marjorie Preston of Washington, DC; her cousin Deloris Kirby; and also Michelle Johnson. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends.
A prayer was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 6:00 AM. Viewing was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the March Life Tribute Center - Randallstown (5616 Old Court Rd, Windsor Mill, MD 21244). A wake was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. She overcame two epidemics, the Scarlet Fever Epidemic in the 1920s and the Covid Epidemic in 2020.
