He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus Thurman and Eliza Thurman. He is survived by: his daughter Catherine Hawkins (Darrell); and his brother Eugene Thurman (Laura). He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
