He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ford and Lula Ford; his son Jason Ford; and his siblings, Elizabeth Harrison, Onita Alexander, Louise Calloway, Jessica Ford, Elbert Ford, Isaac Ford and Charles Ford.
He is survived by: his wife Verlie Lynch Ford; his children, Billy Roland Ford Jr. (Danielle) of Martinsburg, WV, Nathan Horner (Fumie) of Hollywood, CA and Tammy Williams of Baltimore, MD; his brother William Ford of Birmingham, AL; his grandchildren, Teal Ford, Tiara M. DeVoss (Bryce), Paris McMillian (Kyle), Namie Horner, Shekinah Green, Kevonia Green, Jashawn Ford and Brandon Williams; and his great grandchildren, Katia DeVoss, Reison Ford, Saint Ford and Theo McMillian.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (712 Randolph St NW, Washington, DC 20011). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery (11301 Crain Hwy, Cheltenham, MD 20623).
