She is survived by: her husband Alvin Day; her children, Lawrence Miles (Bernardine) of Fredericksburg, Theresa Bradley (Sheena Doreen Holmes) of Fredericksburg and Julia Miles; her grandchildren, Melissa Moorer, D. J. Holmes (Sarah Thompson) of Unionville and Patrice Gill (Lloyd) of Henrico; her great grandchildren, Amari, Imani, Amir of Fredericksburg, Darius, Mya Of Unionville Va, Satira, Janiyah and Isaiah of Henrico Va; and her nieces and nephews, Bettie Lou Turner, Ethel Wilson, Roy Holmes, Howard Robinson and Billy York. She is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and close, devoted friends.
